We have had a strange year since closing on March 15, 2020 with sporadic classes, a reduced enrollment, and several periods of closing.

We know that some people are very concerned about contracting the virus and did not return to ballet classes this past fall. Others felt that we should have remained open and are not so concerned about the virus. We have tried to take into account the safety of our students and faculty, and have closed or reduced classes when we felt that it was appropriate. We have also maintained social distancing, mask-wearing, and temperature check policies when we were open. We hope that you understand.

As a small, family-run business, our owner-teachers are in older, higher-risk categories and felt that sometimes their health was endangered. When we knew that staff or students had contracted of been exposed to the virus, we erred on the side of caution. As scientifically-minded citizens, we followed the science as best we could.

In reopening on February first we hope that all our students and families will continue to practice safety precautions, seek vaccination, and help us to keep everyone safe and healthy. Thank you.
